An under appreciated Elton John album especially within the wider context of music and is easily a fan favorite and one to show if "you are a true fan" whatever that means. Containing a lot of great songs, from the more well known Son fo Your Father, Burn Down The Mission to more deeper cuts likes Where to Now St. Peter, Tumbleweed Connection is a beautiful mix of pinao driven pop rock and roots rock for a mellow tying country themes nicely.

Bordering the classic status, 'Tumbleweed Connection' is an often forgotten Elton John masterpiece. Perhaps his first, it's full of melodic gems, only intensified by his keen pop sensibilities.
The one Elton John album that nobody talks about, and it's honestly surprising to me because this is one of his finest works from his early years in his career, and it contains some of his most underrated songs to date. I don't know about you, but "Country Comfort" almost makes me feel like wantin' to move to the countryside and settling down on a farm, Elton John is probably the only man to write a country song about farmlife, and not make it cringeworthy.
This dude is fucking obsessed with guns and fathers. So much so you sometimes forget he's actually British.
Simple, does the right things, master showcase in songwriting nearly front to back. There's not much to dislike here. I already know this will keep growing on me. I'm looking forward to checking out more full project from Elting, because until now I'd only heard individual tracks.
Favorites: Amoreena, Burn Down The Mission, Love Song, Ballad Of A Well-Known Gun, My Father's Gun
