it's alright, but I would be lying to say I wasn't caught off guard on my first listen, but aside from that I thought that it was the right choice to diversify their sound by getting inspiration from AIC's "Jar of Flies"
Cane Hill have completely rearranged their sound, and I've rather enjoyed their progression. I thought Too Far Gone was good, but somewhat sloppy. This seems a touch more organized, yet still in that "we're trying to figure out this new approach" phase. I actually don't mind the direction they're going.
