Paper Crowns tries to be the next big radio white bread. It doesn't work. Not just because replaceable music always sounds like garbage, but because this shit is so inoffensive that it becomes offencive in the process. Who is this for? Not emo enough for Fall Out Boy fans, not innocent enough for Chainsmokers fans, not loud enough for Imagine Dragons fans, and not enough personality for Shawn Mendes fans. Every shitty demographic this album tries to tap, already has someone draining it.
