Gray Data

Very dynamic and noisy album.

Gray Data is kinda what you think of Power Noise mixed with EDM fusion.
It's energetic and has some catchy moments where I imagine a huge mosh pit.
Production even for that level of distortion is pretty polished in terms of mixing.
Every clap, bass, and other percussion sounds loud enough to create some type of melody or structure.
Some moments here sounds like dreamcrusher and Sophie got a baby.

Lowkey could've been mistaken for a merzbow album at points for how much crunch and clipping there was (especially on that last track), the rhythms were very entertaining and i loved how the songs progressed, fun as hell!!

if you ever see those concert recording video when the bass is so noisy it's cursed? yeah this album is literally that
noisy, bassy and danceable just like vision quest... such an awesome album
wait somebody says you should listen to this on bandcamp... let's see- HOLY SHIT MY EARSSSSSSS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IT"S BLEEDINGGGGGGG-

I'm honestly slightly shocked this was released 12 years ago, it feels very progressive in just how noisy and abrasive it tries to be. When you hear the word heavy, one often thinks of something along the lines of death metal with ferocious guitars and gutteral growls; but one of the other equally accurate ways to use it is to describe music like this.
