fairly enjoyable cloud rap project. First time listening to either of these artists, and coming out of this I am definitely interested in Kill Bill's future. Rav is near obsolete on the whole project and at times his voice and delivery are annoying. The beats range from vibey to bland. There's a small amount of chemistry between the two, but this being a collab does little more than pad out time. Overall I'm interested, but won't be returning to this project much.

I love the underground lo-fi vibes, and I like Kill Bill's verses. However, the sung hooks are kinda painful to listen to, and many of the features are disappointing and uncomfortable. The production is a real vibe though, and those TV samples are creative.

Favorites: Passionfruit, Lovedrug (Off That), Sleeptalking, Saffron, Cult, Fair One

Worst: Lil Empathy

I am not a fan of Rav’s delivery sadly and the rest of the composition does not stand out compared to the Ramona album

The production is heavenly, the bars are introspective and tight. This is a gem.

lovedrug kicks the ass of like every other song kill bill has ever made and i think it's just because of the beat

Kill Bill and Rav sound like everyone's neighbourhood rapper but they're actually good.

So i just listened to this after their amazing short little new project "Solar Flare".
While i Think Solar flare is slightly better this is still pretty good.
Another great Abstract Hip Hop Gem.
In comparison to their new Project, this is way more serious and dark.
While i Enjoy Both i still think The Fun,Goofy and Happy Style they have now is more enjoyable.
But i do have to say,the lyrics here are better.
But the beats are kinda boring (the Samplings are amazing tho)
Still Great ... read more

Woah. I was so ready to dismiss this thing as another cringey Tomppabeats-sounding sadboy rap project. It's actually really good. The sampling is crazy (the do-do-dooooo beat on Dirge) (the suicidal thoughts Biggie sample on Dirge was a nice touch as well) (some of the light twangy guitar loops are also a pleasant addition), and the 90s kid references are awesome as someone else mentioned.

Don't sleep on this, it's actually a pretty interesting release imo.

EDIT: ALSO DIRGE COULD BE BEAT OF ... read more

New Moon is a project that has as many solo songs from the two as it does shared songs between the two of em, mixed up like a bag of candy. It takes nearly five minutes to hear Bill on this project which is kinda funny. A logical continuation of the Ramona / Beneath The Toxic Jungle pipeline sonically and a fantastic mix of the two artists sounds up until this point. A gorgeous nostalgia filled journey down the bubbly alleyways of a city that doesn't exist.

Probably the weakest EXO project with some phoned in verses and songs, but still has some of their best highlights and moments. Much less consistent thematically and quality wise too.

some of these songs are one of the best Rav has ever put out in an album but some of them also feel somewhat stale and even repetitive, and while the sound of this album is relaxing and even beautiful, it can feel the same for multiple tracks
overall decent project, SKIN is better tho

favs: Dirge, Lovedrug (Off That), Saffron, Fair One

New Moon is a comfortable and nice listen of equally nice lo fi hip hop tracks. Their voices contrast quite well as Kill Bill's delivery is more aggressive and 'Jadakiss' like while Rav's is more slick and feminine. The production sets the vibe of the album as lo fi beats with interesting melodies from slick acoustic guitars on 'Lovedrug (off that)' and weird yet interesting vocal samples like on 'Dirge.' The content varies from having a following, depression, drug dealing to love.

Achei que rav ... read more

Rav and Kill Bill are sort of polar opposites but they somehow make one of my favorite hip hop albums to put on while chillin with my friends. It's really easy to listen to and has really nice variety to keep you entertained through out

New Moon is an enjoyable and more lowkey project.

Rav Discog #3

Kill Bill probably outraps Rav in this one because I found his performances to be more memorable, but they share a good duo with each other on this project, such as Lovedrug or Dirge. Lil Empathy as an outro is definitely a standout from the slight difference from the rest of the project being such melancholic compared to the rest in a different way, due to it just being Rav and Rekcahdam's poetry. Airospace has also his first ... read more
