"Adore" is the second album by Canadian post-black metal outfit, Numenorean, and god it is good.

I didn’t know about these guys until today, and it happened randomly. After I was done listening to Falls of Rauros’ latest LP (which I also reviewed), this album started playing from Spotify’s radio function. One of the most melodic and eerily beautiful black metal albums of this year, nearly every track here is a gorgeous display of emotional bliss. Obvious highlights are the longer cuts here, Portrait of Pieces and the title track, both are amazing 8 minute epics that show the best aspects of the genre. The acoustic interludes scattered throughout aren't very memorable, but they provide a decent enough reprieve from the heavier tracks.
