A swooning collection of lush, confident RnB tinged electronica from a talented roster of collaborators (Jamie Woon, Jamie Jidell, Jay Electronica) that feels ultimately fresh and mature. This is her winning streak.

Gorgeous rnb album from Rosie Lowe and step up from her debut. Songs on being confident in who you are mixed with very sexy ones that paint the picture of a strong woman catching feelings but still holding on to her identity and her strength. Love the production and her vocals on this.
Faves: Birdsong, Mango/ ITILY (The transition from Mango to ITILY whew), Royalty

YU exudes confidence, personality and sensuality —some things that her last album lacked— through intelligent and thought-provoking lyrics and sultry production. Overall, a very much appreciated step in the right direction.

Favorite tracks: Birdsong, Pharoah, Mango, ITILY, Little Bird, Royalty and UEMM.
Least favorite track: Lifeline.

YU guides the listener in and out of a romantic chasm full of familiar lush synths and subtle sticky melodies. There’s something about Rosie’s sultry rhythm that puts me in a trance without becoming tiresome. Engaging from front to back, YU is an ease to replay with little to no filler in sight. And might I add, a vinyl must.
