Erotica comes up seriously schizoid. Simultaneous brilliance and baloney from the same team and all within the broad dance idiom. Madonna mixed up? The signs are that, once she's popped her kit back on and realised we like her for herself, it'll all turn out nicely.

oh i’ve been waiting to get to this album for a while now, and now here we are. this is one of the most sexy albums i’ve ever heard and the producer deserves to have their ass ate because WTF. i’m honestly impressed, my expectations (which were already high) were exceeded completely. this is madonnas magnum opus in my opnion, everything came together and i loved all the tracks.

The more time I spend with this album, the more the contours of the album reveal to be extremely thoughtful and provocative beyond explicit.
This year has decided to end in a blaze of drama. I am still listening to music (and working on some larger projects) but am having to deal with the realities of life. Madonna helps make that drama a little easier to deal with.
