Jazz fusion is one crazy genre. I'm far from familiar with it, so I don't know if it's this album or the genre, but the way different elements of various styles come together is confusing to the ears. This is a fantastic instrumental album combining jazz fusion and progressive rock, played by none other than Chick Corea (keys), Al Di Meola (guitar), Stanley Clarke (bass) and Lenny White (percussion).

As I'm starting my slow journey into Jazz-Fusion as a genre, "Romantic Warrior" by Return To Forever was recommended to me by people I trust. I was also glad that I had the chance to finally listen to a full Chick Corea album, I always though he was an interesting composer, and now I listened to his band!
And yes, it's still some very interesting, charming and crazy music, and it's the kind of combination of jazz and rock I tend to really enjoy.
