A slight improvement from [++], the group's previous effort. I do like the style they went for, but the production leaves more to be desired. I am hopefully, however, that one day Loona will make my new favorite kpop album.

As is the usual run of things in K-pop, the general aesthetic is pretty infantile and insipid, but some of the instrumental qualities are fairly palatable and even interesting at times when it stops sounding like an CoD Youtuber's intro montage soundtrack.

a surprisingly large amount of K pop stans when stan lee died tweeted "why stan lee when you could stan loona" type of memes and I kinda tuned out loona and k pop as a whole for a while cuz of that bullshit
fuck k pop stans

I don't see this as an improvement from her previous release, but as a lazier addition to her discography.

Even though I find some hooks kinda interesting, this reissue feels pretty forgettable and rushed. Despite everything, I lowkey have to admit the MV for Butterfly is probably the best visual project I've seen in Kpop so far, and the song Satellite is enjoyable.
