The Needle Drop
This debut full-length from Sisyphus is far from perfect, but it's still an incredibly bold and fun display of pop absurdity and genre-blending.

I really wish I would’ve liked this more. It’s a one once in a lifetime collaboration album. By none other than Sufjan Stevens, Serengeti and Ryan Lott (Son Lux). The contrast between Sufjan’s mellow singing and Serengeti’s rapping is honestly amazing. The instrumentals were quite impressive too. Formerly s/s/s, Sufjan contributes worthwhile songs, Hardly Hanging on, Take Me, I Won't Be Afraid. Serengeti is a great collaborator for him, I hope they do another one, hopefully geti as Kenny Denis.
