I found this album while I was just browsing on the new tab so here I am. Coming into this, I had 0 idea or expectations of what to expect because I've never even heard of this band up till now. Anyone who has heard of The Kooks, The Strokes and Catfish & The Bottlemen won't be too unfamiliar with the sounds of this record, in fact they'd probably be well acquainted with the indie-garage rock sounds that are associated with the acts that make up the bulk of this record.

The Cribs are an under-loved but absolutely seminal band that deserve their spot amongst the best English-indie bands of all time. This, arguably their best record, is a fantastic piece of work and a good starting point for any potential new fans. With perfect pacing, 12 individually brilliant tracks and a great mix of fast, slow and emotional song writing, this album is near-perfect.
