Fear in a Handful of Dust is Amon Tobin at his finest. Amon Tobin is one of the most creative and underrated artists in Electronic Music. Everything he has made is good to incredible but the one project that he will never top is the Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Soundtrack. A soundtrack so musically genius and layered that it makes perfect sense then without the game attached. Btw you must play Chaos Theory at some point in your life. Life Out In The Forest Is Rough
Very different to the early few albums that I know well - a lot of this sounds like mood pieces, almost music box lullabies put through an electronics filter.
It's okay, but not what I expected. May need to revisit it another time and re-assess my score.
Nice to hear and artist making something truly musical and melodic on modular gear. Gets better with every listen and enjoying the video for Vipers Follow You too...
