No self-made rapper with an actual come up releases three major label albums less than a year after they get one big soundcloud hit. Adam22 and other culture propagandists hyped this guy up and now he's on the charts. The labels saw Lil Peep's death as a sign that there was money to be made in emo rap and it was pushed to the mainstream in the months following his death. Interscope is getting away with shit like this now and the market is totally cool with it.

I work at a middle school full of angsty tik tok making preteens, I think that I am more than justified in saying that I don't have the highest expectations for this album

Review: I came into this with very low expectations, and I guess you could say they were slightly exceeded. As soon as I saw the run time on this thing, I knew it was gonna be the emo-rap version of Scorpion, which it was. What I mean by that, is that this record was full of half assed bullshit tracks with poor mixing and ... read more

Why did we ever make this guy a thing? I'm beyond pissed that he tricked me into listening to this album because of the dope cover art.

Yea sure maybe this is not for me but
This Juice WRLD ALBUM IS NOT GOOD

For one the album is very long standing at 1 hour and 12 mins and Juice WRLD is not a artist that is capable of making a 1 hour album entertaining, most of the songs sound very blant and uninteresting with your typical trap beat emo rap instrumental and juice WRLDs overly auto tuned annoying voice

Atleast Good Bye Good Riddance was decent

This album is just shit

A homage of the twisted metal game cover wont save this for being too long-winded and overdramatic. Some of the melodies on here is pleasant enough but juice wlrd lyrics border being too over sentimental and childish that reminisce of the edgy pop punk in early to mid 2000s. Despite these major cons, I have to give it up for the production on here being at-least consistent. At least with the many trap artists sounding one to another, juice wrld is in a different path even if the path isn't all ... read more

Juice WRLD's sophomore album plays out like the diary of a 14 year old purple haired special snowflake called Eugene, which got dumped by his girlfriend of 2 weeks and got grounded because his parents caught him smoking weed once to "heal the pain".

This has got to be the most tedious and cringe inducing hip hop album I've heard so far this year. Everything from the terrible PS1 inspired cover art to the content on here. Juice WRLD sounds like a BTEC Post Malone. The instrumentals ... read more

first 5 songs are amazing. no joke they are incredible.

6th track is really pop and underwritten. it is boring and laughable.

picks up at Big where he does his travis Scott impression. the sound and feel of this album is great. robbery is stupidly good.there are a lot of impressions of peers on this album.

the xxx impression on syphilis is unlistenable

from track 1 to 10 it is a strong 7 to light 8

I am bored at track 12

I wouldn't say it's as inherently bad as everyone makes it out to be, but my god there are so many tracks on here that just didn't need to exist. There are definitely some GREAT tracks here, such as [see favourite tracks], but even then that's not even half the album. I don't know, Juice WRLD's voice just gets so tiring after TWENTY TWO tracks. There are some highlights vocal-wise and production-wise here and there though.

Also people actually like Robbery? That has to easily be one of the ... read more

Fucking hell! At least "Goodbye & Good Riddance" had some enjoyable cuts here and there. "DEATH RACE FOR LOVE" forced me to go through 72 MINUTES of samey, shitty material. There are a few good moments in the track list and that cover is just fucking awesome! But this album just felt like torture and I already wanted to leave 5 tracks into this 22-track record.

After enjoying last years Goodbye & Good Riddance I had high hopes for Juice WRLD's future but if this is the path he's going to take I believe he'll paint himself into a corner of complete irrelevancy pretty quickly. He's really bringing nothing new. Last year he burst onto the scene with iconic vocals perfect for his catchy brand of melodic emo rap. His debut album was a little repetitive and maybe even one-dimensional but I thought it worked due to how fresh, energetic and youthful the ... read more

This album is just as good as Death Race (2008) starring Jason Statham, who I think should actually get into the UK grime scene to whip the new generation into shape.

With some catchy melodies that reminisces to the days of Blink-182 and Pierce the Veil, Juice WRLDs sophomore effort unfortunately drags out too long with some melodramatic lyrics that feels insincere.

Empty, Maze, Fast, Robbery, Flaws and Sins, Who Shot Cupid?, 10 Feet, Won't Let Go, Make Believe

Just the first track in and I'm already not amazed.
Yep, this was pretty boring.

I tried so hard to like this. Empty was a banger, but the rest ranged from meh to God awful (fucking Robbery). I've noticed that Juice is at his best when he's rapping at a higher register, but he barely takes advantage of this and mumbles way too much. Avoid this like the plague.

Juice WRLD is not the most talented lyricist, but his catchy vocal melodies, smooth backing beats, and consistent aesthetic make for a decent listen, although, not in the least timeless.

Don't come in to this album looking for poetic prowess, as you'll come out very disappointed. Instead, this is something you can listen to while working on a project, or just hanging out with friends or at a party. The beats are slick, but the lyrics are insanely cringey a lot of the time. Honestly, this isn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. A lot of the hooks are pretty catchy. JuiceWRLD is also not too bad of a lyricist for an emo-trap rapper, there are a few funny lines scattered throughout the album. Unfortunately, the album is 72 minutes in length and is way overly long. I do appreciate that he makes an attempt to try and breakup the repetitiveness of the album on a few songs like "Big" "Out My Way" and "ON GOD", and not that ... read more

Juice WRLD is the little rookie of 2018. He released one of the biggest hit of 2018: "Lucid Dreams". I do not really understand the hatred that people have towards him. In reality, Juice WRLD makes simple music for teenagers and is one of the most important figures of emo rap. The rapper / singer grew up in a strict religious home that forbids listening to hip-hop. His musical education came from video games and movie music for franchises like "Tony Hawk Pro Skater". His new ... read more

One of the most solid rap albums of the year so far, Juice takes the emo trap sub-genre and makes it his own presenting a long but interesting set of tracks. Not for everybody but I'd give it a recommend, if you listen to anything from this peep The Bees Knees (the beat switch is godly)

It feels like all of Juice WRLD's lyrics are written by a 12-year-old who played Fortnite with a female streamer once and she didn't respond to his add request.

You know your album is trash when the only decent thing about it is the album cover throwback to the original PS1. Like seriously, 22 tracks and you think I'm gonna listen to all of it. If so, then you are crazy.

Can't say I didn't enjoy the flows and production (even if the album is way too long and some of the songs are repetitive) but the thing which ruined for me were the corny emo lyrics (and corny title tracks like "hemotionz", "feeling" and "she's the one") .

Best track- The bees knees
Worst track- Hear me calling

Not a great album but really looks like an album that gonna be overhated alot

When I saw it had 22 tracks, I got worried for Juice WRLD, but Juice WRLD managed to keep me interested all the way through the album. It actually is quite a pleasant listen as it features quite a lot of catchy melodies.

QUICK THOUGHTS: This really the sound we gonna let replace trap? The sad thing is there’s a decent album burried underneath the filler, but the streaming age prevented that from happening. Maybe if it was condensed to its 9 strongest songs it’d be near a 7, but alas, that’s not the case. Sorry Mr. WRLD.

BEST TRACKS: MAZE, HEMOTIONS, FAST, BIG, MAKE BELIEVE

WORST TRACKS: RING RING, FEELING, WHO SHOT CUPID?

Juice WRLD's latest effort, unfortunately, is mostly a long, mixed bag of tracks. The melodies on this record do not stick like they did on his project last year and the over-dramatic lyrics come and go throughout. Within this project, there's a handful of solid jams, but there is too much filler to be as cohesive and stellar as 'Goodbye & Good Riddance'. With that being said, there are some songs on here that would fit in well with his releases last year.

After his debut track “Lucid Dreams” I really don’t think Juice has the willpower to make anything that slaps harder. The album is just the same repetitive stuff with a different melody in each track. However, Juice never writes any lyrics, so props to him for freestyling all of this and making it mildly listenable.

At times it feels unnatural, there is abuse use of autotune and gets bothering; instead of showing his rapping skills, this shadows the whole stuff. Juice WRLD delivers a bland bunch of tracks, which on every single one sounds the same formulaic execution with tiny differences among them, from "Empty" to "Make Believe" lies a huge disconnection on all the senses it pretended to focus, fairly running out originality and cleverness. Somehow particular moments stands up it out ... read more

So I actually quite like Juice WRLD- his first album was overlong and mostly average, but the diamonds in the rough were some of the best emo rap tracks ever made (lucid dreams, armed and dangerous, all girls are the same, etc.) Next, his Future collab is actually a really huge guilty pleasure of mine- by no means is it any better than the first JW project, I just find so much enjoyment in some of the tracks they share on that mixtape. So going into Death Race For Love, I had high hopes. ... read more
