Unprecedented minimalism. This album delivers exactly what was intended when these tracks were made. It begins with Broken Chords Can Sing A Little; Nothing but pure emotion and the tinny vocals of 1960s radio samples, but you're bare to witness a sonic evolution on track 2, Sit in the Middle of Three Galloping Dogs, which introduces more proper instrumentation, strings coming in to lament in grief. Later on, on track 3, this continues with some beautiful compositions harmonizing with a soft ... read more

Less of a sense of dread and/or violence with this album compared to the work of Godspeed YBE.

If it doesn't sound quite as vital it makes up for this with being that bit more agreeable when looking for something to put on to aid pure relaxation/contemplation.
