The Beths are just so damn good, in the most no-frills manner possible. Their 2018 full-length “Future Me Hates Me” is one of the most flawless and lovable debuts in recent memory, and it’s been gratifying to watch that album gradually expand its audience. I missed the fact that The Beths dropped a debut EP when I was going through their stuff earlier this week. If I wasn’t so intent on listening to the entire dIscography of every Outside Lands act then I absolutely would not have gone back and listened to this (I rated their two LPs as a 42 and 54).
