Yup, it's "another one" from Khaled - but the DJ/producer/hype man's latest star-studded effort is by far his most accomplished album yet.

Exclaim!

DJ Khaled knows how to produce a hit with any number of artists, but his 2019 effort could have used some more growth like Asahd.

AllMusic
Although instant, maximum commercial impact is no doubt the primary objective, the album does come across as more considered than the average Khaled LP.

Pitchfork

DJ Khaled has ranged from summertime hitmaker to self-help guru, but neither are all that interesting on his latest guest-filled album. There are plenty of voices but no clear message or intention.

“Father Of Asahd” Is Proof DJ Khaled's Vision Has Gone Stale

Rolling Stone

If once there was the sense that Khaled at least brokered these collaborations, that somehow his presence made these songs possible, now he feels more like a rubber stamp.

Highsnobiety

Even in the case of his most memorable songs, one can’t help but think that they are special in spite of him, rather than because of him.

nope. it's tyler time u fat fuck

EDIT : Well, I actually spent some of my time for this album despite my awareness of the results even before diving into it. And I'll summarise my thoughts in one sentence : Take out his annoying shouts and he'll be as unnecessary as NAV.

And the award for “Worst Father of the Year” goes to..

My review is gonna be quick: This is the worst Khaled album I’ve ever heard.

Every song is both overproduced off the planet while also being revoltingly bland. Nothing is memorable, exciting or actually sticks. The features are all phoned in, and respectively feature in their worst songs they’ve done this year so far. It’s listenable, but sooo damn unlikable. I honestly can’t think of a highlight except ... read more

Hey! You there! Yeah, you! The person looking at this right now. Nobody else has rated this yet, so I'm assuming you haven't either. Well, I have listened to it, and I'm here to tell you to not. Really, it's not offensively bad, but it's just not worth your time. Instead, may I propose Igor, Injury Reserve or Dedicated. In fact, maybe anything BUT this. Hope this saves an hour off of some lifespans.
