This is a big step up from his first solo album in which you see him going into more of a theatrical and progressive route which sees McCartney really shining as an artist and performer along with Linda McCartney. Songs like long haired lady and dear boy are lush and psychedelic songs with great production that really hit the listener hard with lyrics about relationships. So, I love, love, LOVE The Beatles! You probably know that by now if you read my Beatles reviews. I don't remember if I ever mentioned this in any of the reviews, but my favorite member is Paul, I probably enjoy his songs the most and I like his voice the most out of the members. Obviously, I was super excited to check this one out. And holy fucking shit, it blew my expectations away. This was even better than I anticipated to be.

Ram is the second studio album by Paul McCartney, and the only one credited to both him and his wife Linda. Reception to the album was surprisingly very negative, even the other former Beatles disliked it. John especially hated it, believing that there were multiple songs on the album which were jabs at him and his wife Yoko. Nowadays critics have been kinder to Ram, naming it as Paul's best solo album and one of the first indie pop albums.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this is. I’ll be obsessed with it for a little while now.
McCartney permanece construindo melodias lindas e cativantes, mas agora arriscando mais, experimentando e trabalhando mais em cada música deixando até as mais sem graça do álbum, no mínimo muito bacanas quando vistas por completo.
