Wild Young Hearts is the follow up release to their punky attitude filled debut, developing a sound that references both styles from the 1960’s / 1970’s aswell as a more funk and soul influence here and there on the album. It’s smooth production on songs like Every Now And Then and the title track really emphasises the beautiful vocals of lead vocalist Shingai, a style that works so well with her tone. Don't upset the rhythm was one of my favorite songs during my childhood and it still is, and after listening to never forget you i decided to give the entire album a try. I have to say that this project feels like a 70s tribute where you hang out with your friends in the beach while forgetting of the daily bullshit, is very easy to swallow and has a very nice tone that can make you feel euphoric.
