Inasmuch as it invests in rhythmic expansion, Ancestral Recall also marks a turn inward. It is an exciting strategic choice for stretch music, the philosophy born of cultural amplification and group interplay.

Quite the journey this album is.
Calm and meditative, yet so full of life and energy.

On this sunny afternoon, lying on my back, eyes closed I had my first experience with this album. A pleasant trip like no other this year so far. Already waiting to experience this in the summer or while travelling or in my dark room or wherever but surely it's an experience I'll be having many times this year.

Highly recommended! Close your eyes and take a trip with this album.

title couldn't be more accurate. very heavy on the African tribal drumming, but very much of a contemporary jazz fusion album with tones of psychedelia mixed in.
