EDIT: FANTASTIC

Old Star is Darkthrone's best album since Hate Them (which is factually the band's greatest work). While the album continues the return to traditional black metal that was hinted at in Arctic Thunder, it adds a significant doom metal twist that makes it all the more heavy and soul-crushing...just how I want my black metal to be.
