I liked the interesting production but the vocals left a lot to be desired. On most song’s the vocals didn’t add anything substantial to the songs and almost got in the way.
Some tracks shine far brighter than others but overall, this record is pretty solid. Also wished he would've used the 1998 remix with BANKS instead. The version found on here seems like it just had the end tagged onto the single version to make it longer.

again a good friend showed me talk is cheap from this album when i was in high school. my personal faves from this (and still now) are: talk is cheap, gold, blush. warming up to other songs from this album now that i’ve listened to it properly
