Ultimately, Hiding Places is woods trying to reconcile his own history in the most direct way imaginable. Never has he been so honest about himself, his fears, and his own mortality.
This is a classic in my opinion. Woods finally opened up more, and the result is his most personal album to date. He's vulnerable while also keeping true to his gritty rhyme style. There's even a lot of humorous moments on this LP. It's like how we use comedy in our day-to-day life to express some deeper, harder to cope with issues. I was beginning to lose all hope for Hip-Hop for the rest of the year. Here comes Mr. Woods to save the day with his best project yet.
Bro had a song called SpongeBob on this album it was great. This album goes so hard. This Billy Woods guy is immensely talented or maybe he's hard working, either way he has a great music output and that's what matters.
