i basically know nothing about cavetown but idk this is such an inoffensive sound to the point where it kinda feels sterile sometimes, the chloe moriondo feature was nice but there isn't a single highlight in here, is the most braindead type of bedroom pop ever, it's not bad but tbh it makes sense when you consider that this project takes NO RISKS

I can't believe I'm going to admit this but I listened to a bunch of cavetown in 2020 and his evolution as an artist has been interesting it finally feels like he's straying away from his usual sound and it's for the better
Coming from someone almost entirely unfamiliar with Cavetown’s music, Running With Scissors is a pretty impressive project, and one that managed to convert me into a fan before I was even halfway through.

Fast paced and overproduced. Massive disappointment. Total betrayal of the qualities that made me fall in love with Cavetown in the first place.
