My uncle is the craziest Pavement fan I will probably ever meet. I remember when I was 13 and quite vividly him showing me Silver Jews just to get an idea of how mind altering and earth shattering Pavement was. Five years later and I still (basically) say to this day: "RAWR XD SILVER JEWS>PAVEMENT MAJOR UWU"

He hasn't texted me in over a year.
The end.
One of my favorite albums of all time. It's a strange thing to feel so nostalgic towards an album that was made before I was born. I think that says something about the strength of its message, as well as the music itself.

Favorite Songs: Summer Babe, In the Mouth a Desert, Here, Loretta's Scars, Perfume-V, Zürich is Stained, Conduit for Sale!
It's funny how this piece of lo-fi, sort of noise rock, garagey thing inspired and influenced an entire decade of indie rock, and yet, there is nothing like it.
An album that changes how you view pop music. Sure, it can be a bit challenging at first, but after repeated listens it begins to soak in that you're listening to pure genius.

Fav Tracks: Summer Babe, Trigger Cut, In the Mouth a Desert, Here, Perfume V, Our Singer
After multiple attempts... Pavement finally clicked with me. Strangely enough that I didn't like this sooner, given that 90s indie rock is right up my alley, but this album's energetic nonchalance and swinging riffs eventually won over me.
