Unbearably White

Maybe this is why I've never listened to a full Vampire Weekend album. Man, these songs are just so boring to me and I think the main cause of that is Ezra Koenig's songwriting. He has great hooks and mostly pretty good instrumental arrangements + production, but fuck every word just sounds so uninspired. These singles revolve around the same tropes that have been beaten to a pulp by indie musicians in the past decade or so.
