ALBUM OF THE DAY CHALLENGE (DAY 4)

A VERY compelling noise release that sadly is dampened by a few annoying moments. Don't get me wrong, some songs are GREAT. I mean REAL great. Before I begin, I will say this. I don't know much about noise music and I'm only just getting into this genre with this release. Prior to this my only exposures were the noise aspects of Avenade's "It's a Whimsical Afterlife" and the C'est La Fin! album "French Bangers". Now onto the review.

Hermann Holsgr delivers a very interesting concept album. Apparently this album is supposed to describe a "machine language sound" and ... read more
