Named after her high school Kerouac-inspired nickname, Zagg channels a bright, immensely personal look into the messy world that is her own (inasmuch the same as the artwork drawn by Adam Green). Working from a very surprising guest of collaborators, husband Jonathan Rado (of Foxygen fame), Matthew E. White and The Lemon Twigs, this debut is a fun, bright splash of talent and quirkiness for days to come.

with the ample support of the Spacebomb Squad and hotter-than-the-sun producer Jonathan Rado, this record by Jackie Cohen is a loose, fun, wacky grab-bag of a "summer" record. Cohen is smart, funny, and immensely talented. she may lack a bit of the gravitas of some of her singer-songwriter peers but she is way more entertaining than many of them.
