I just can't hate anything they do because of how much I've loved them from day one, but man it's really disappointing to wait three years and receive 29 minutes of pop. It's catchy and I'll listen to the shit out of it, but ugh. Their first two records are indie rock essentials though. Check em out.

On the Brooklyn trios 5th release “Erotic Reruns ” they take a step away from the unsuccessful experimentation of there previous album to create something fun and catchy, its nothing groundbreaking but at least it doesn’t suck.

The Brooklyn art trio's newest effort still proves their strong knack for melodic, catchy hooks and compositions so strongly suggestive of warm summer and propulsive diversion. This doesn't shy away from their past efforts, more so an accumulation of what makes them consistent and versatile.

Could use some fleshing out, but probably the most enjoyable Yeasayer record since Odd Blood.

Catch A Smile, Let Me Listen In On You and Fluttering in the Floodlights are all stellar pop tracks, the rest is amicable easy listening.

this is a pretty fun time that doesnt really grab you in a particular way like- i just listened to this about 7 times and barely remember much but the general beats

Pretty decent in parts. Never anything as energetically engaging as some of their earlier pop songs, but still an enjoyable record. Pretty good alternative mood to the 1975, minus the whole wanting to rip your ears off.
