Your favorite rapper's favorite rapper material. You'll hear so many moments on this album that you've heard on other classic records, it'll make your head spin. A 80's record that succeeds at being accessible, conscious, and assertive. It doesn't overstay it's welcome for more then a song or two, KRS-One's lyrics are always hard-hitting, and man do I love the percussion all over this thing. If he turned in some verses on Nervous it would be an easy 8/10.
KRS1 had this great and inspiring idea of using violent symbols and language to attract the hard-core street males, by gaining their attention his aim was to put out record after record by replacing deadly violence with militant peace.
