While his first album was inconsistent quality-wise (some great standout moments and some not so great moments), and his second was, in contrast, consistently mediocre, Peter Gabriel's third effort falls somewhere in the middle for me. There's less great songs than on Car, but also less throwaway fillers than on Scratch.
