Once again, the duo triumphed by going against the flow -- when MCs ranging from Public Enemy to Sir Mix-A-Lot to N.W.A weren't hesitating to be abrasive and hyper, EPMD still had a sound that was decidedly relaxed by rap standards.
It's still EPMD, so you'll still look like Leo DiCap pointing on some 'hey, I know that!' shit. The best songs on here aren't exceptional, yet the worst songs on here aren't bad, just kinda there. Consistent in that regard, but not a lot to return to here that you couldn't get with their previous album. And those last two tracks sink it, just wayyy too long.
