When it comes to "Black Out," it gets rougher, and "Evil Stack" is simply too much for mere mortals.

New ULF 100... and with Merzbow's name on it too? No, it can't be...

This had been on my radar for a few months now, having dived into both artists' discographies since the start of 2023 and finding myself hooked into wanting more & more. Seeing that Rock Dream is regarded as one of the best live albums ever composed, as well as being insanely raw and intense. Knowing what Boris & Merzbow bring to the table on their own, I can easily agree with that. But both artists together, I can't ... read more

Sorry Rage Against The Machine self-titled, but Boris with Merzbow's Rock Dream is now my favourite metal album of all time.

Merzbow is actually ... read more

Well. Here we go. Welcome to chapter 28 of Striker's journey the review series where I trawl through the best albums of all time as voted by users and tell you what I think of them.

Today,I will be reviewing the 2007 live collaberation between the the Japanese hard rock band Boris and electronic music creator Merzbow. This was by far one of the hardest albums for me to get through because it was something so radically different from what I'd usually listen to. Digesting and analysing this is ... read more
