I GOT A BONE TO PICK CAUSE I'M SIIIICK

Any hip hop history buff is gonna adore this record. One of the very first rap albums to be completely deserving of the title 'hardcore,' Geto Boys were on a mission to excite and offend as many people as humanly possible. I'd venture to say that, after a listen to Mind Of A Lunatic, they did a sensational job. Rick Rubin's production really gives this album the edge it needs for Bushwick, Willie, and Scarface to tear shit up. THE WHOLE FACULTY IS ON CRACK

Some hard new tracks, and superior remixes of the last LP w/ different samples (legally used ones this time), make for a better "debut", or reintroduction.

A banging album where the energy never stops. While the first and final tracks are new, this is basically a remix album of their previous release, 'Grip It! On That Other Level'. I have heard the aforementioned album but I can't remember it well enough at the moment to make comparisons. At first I wasn't really feeling the sample on 'Gangster of Love' but it has grown on me and the 'gangsta boogie' part kind of makes up for it.
