Music by Daniel Wohl is brand new to me. His composition is unique in sound, structure, and style. In '19s, 'État' Wohl plays with phrasing, sound coloring, harmony, and cadence as one might expect of an experimentally minded musician to do. By track 5, I looked up from my desk, thinking that I was listening to a Goldmund record. Nope. It's a Wohl recording, and it's a damn good one at that.
