I see all this Islands slander, and I just have to shake my head. Clearly everyone is too scared to accept the true King Crimson masterpiece.

Gonna be honest, I wasn't planning on reviewing this just yet, but my internet has been shit all night, leaving me with nothing but whatever I own on vinyl to listen to, so I'm gonna just review this album that I've been meaning to rewrite for a long while now. A pretty, jazzy, and concise record. I like it a lot.

The next album I'm covering in my dive through King Crimsons discography is the bands 4th album, Islands. King Crimson take a more poetic, jazz filled symphonic route on their 4th studio album and with great effect, with some of their most complex passages and is a lovely contrast from their previous 3 albums, offering a more relaxing listen which instantly of instantly grabbing slowly wraps you around in its soundscape.
