SamuraiBird releases a project that is very minimal, and even unfinished, but it carries a charm that requires understanding the artist’s circumstance to appreciate. The project is very simple, it has very simple piano melodies, and I personally loved the ambient spacing in some of the tracks, like the first track. Underrated highlight from 2019
This is like electric gospel, thank you Samurai.

Best: Japanese Glitter, Blue Jay, Earthbound, Garfield, Super Monkey Ball

Weakest: Tater Tots
Pleasantly surprised by this release. With you being just another AOTY user making music for fun, I did not have high expectations for this. Yet, this shows an immense potential and talent. Most of those melodies are all super groovy and make me feel good. I'm genuine when I say this is among the best indie electronic music I've heard.

This is a massive improvement from Pink Arcade. This time displaying multiple instruments, melodies, as well as just being more "music" as a whole. There's a lot of interesting parts on here. Like the Sudden burst of energy on Japanese Glitter, the weird drifty vibe of Fruit Loops, and the amazing ending to the album that is Goodnight. The main problem tho is how repetitive it is. Good morning.
Lmao, only took me a month to get to this.

Either way, this is a pretty solid musical project. Wonky experimental electronics are pretty well done and is enough to keep me engaged. However, I think the second leg of the album was kind of lacking in comparison to what was already presented in the songs previously whether it was missing a part that brought the song to its peak or there was barely enough experimentations to keep the engagement in.
