i sure am reviewing a lot of debut albums arent i! Roll With The Punches is a nice downtempo electronic album with some fun elements but leaves me wanting more.

when the album hits right, Yu Su creates these expansive, surreal environments that feel really alive. the track Little Birds, Moonbath has this gorgeous descending synthline that feels like a waterfall cascading over a misty cliffside, and the kinda buoyant percussion feel like you're swimming through a little pond, or romping through ... read more

A beautiful ambient house release, creating mesmerising blissful moments that can be enjoyed either by paying close attention to them or by creating background ambience. Some of these tracks can borderline on tedium, such as the ten minute Tipu's Tiger, whose melody isn't as compelling as the more ethereal cuts here and doesn't progress much given its longer runtime, and no track matches the high bar set by the opening track Little Birds, Moonbath.
