I can see why a first time listener would compare TOBi to pre-Coloring Book era Chance the Rapper. His storytelling ability is very unique, not to mention a welcomed voice to the jazz rap community.

Неплохой такой R'n'B/хип-хоп релиз от подающего надежды новичка. Разнообразия хватает - скучать особо не приходится. Но ждал чего то по интереснее, наверно. В делюкс издании прилагается несколько ремиксов с более заметными артистами на фитах и парочка свежих треков.

This albums contains everything need to be a great one: talent, emotion, and excellent production. TOBi fills each song with a great blend of singing and rapping that is packed with emotion that is hard to match. On top of that, the production pulls from a wide variety of vibes, from hip-hop to Jazz to R&B/Soul. In many ways this album brings me back to the vibe of The Weeknd's Trilogy. In an interview with AFROPUNK, TOBi cited the work of Gil Scott-Heron, Frank Ocean, Marvin Gaye, Eartha Kitt, Florence and the Machine, and Andre 3000 as inspirations for his own work, particularly his lyrics.

If you love any of these artists you should really listen to this album.

Criminally overlooked!

This man has one of the sexiest voices in the game right now and the instrumentals on this are just beautiful.
