The Flower and the Vessel

While the beginning of the album gets off to a strong start it quickly falters after that. As I was listing to the first 6 tracks I found myself deep in thought. Listening to every nuance in each song and lost in the moment of each whisper are note played. Once I got to the last half of the album I found myself bored. Each song seemed to run together to form 30 minutes of ASMR that just wasn't working. The only highlight of the last half of the album is the guitar work from Sunn O))). Coming ... read more
