On stage they bring any house down, during freestyle sessions they are likely lights out but when it came to putting a project together there simply isn’t enough Big Apple to go around.
Despite their intentions, the album still often feels like wandering into a pointless cypher.
There is too much talent in Beast Coast for Escape from New York to be outright bad but ultimately it is a symptom of the city's lost relevance rather than a cure.

I am obviously in the minority here but I absolutely love it, it gets better every time for me. I love every song. The fact this is considered a flop album or a mid album is sad to me.
All of these songs have the potential to be better than they are and this project fell short of expectations yet most of these songs are decent but just lack uniqueness and the ability to be interesting. Quite disappointing.
I think this album is overhated, especially from what I can see from this site. For me a lot of tracks on here are good and not much else but I do have a good amount of highlights, which I will list in the favourites section. Tracks 3,4 are decent but nothing too special.
