The first of the trinity of British hard rock and heavy metal bands, Deep Purple, are a band that I've been meaning to get around to for quite some time now. I've always been putting off listening to their albums because of how long their discography is, but I figured that now would be the best time, and I have to admit that their debut record impressed me more than I expected.
