Plays like a stoner metal version of Royal Blood - shares the snap in the attack that band display in their best moments, only this album has a more expansive sound that makes it feel like you've turned up for more than just 'the next hook-y riff'.

Great guitar sound, tight drumming - all in all this is quite the earth shaker when you turn the volume knob to maximum.

This album works best when it stretches out the sounds of stoner metal into epic, expansive tracks with grand instrumentation. However, there are too many mediocre detours to warrant a full listen-though.

Modern Helmet kicking hard and using 90's alt rock and shoegaze vibes to push this record beyond its limits.
