Plays like a stoner metal version of Royal Blood - shares the snap in the attack that band display in their best moments, only this album has a more expansive sound that makes it feel like you've turned up for more than just 'the next hook-y riff'.
Great guitar sound, tight drumming - all in all this is quite the earth shaker when you turn the volume knob to maximum.
“Admission” is the 6th studio album by sludge metal, alternative rock band Torche. Torche is mainly known as a band that combines sludge metal, with Alternative and pop rock. However 2015s “Restarter” was a slight return to form to their earlier heavier sound. It seems that Torche has decided to head back to more of a sludge album, but this time bring back some of the more pop centric elements that made records like Harmonicraft so great.
