A little long, but Kota has a soft and almost therapeutic delivery off FOTO. The production is chill, the verses are nice, and it can either be catchy or just something to kick back to. Plenty of great late night songs, I feel like if you like camping then you'd probably love this project lol. Doesn't do the same for me as EVERYTHING though, but I do appreciate how For Colored Boys got me into Kota and how other songs are fantastic for when I'm driving at night.
One of the best laid back and melodic albums out of the Chicago scene. Kota the Friend comes off as super down to earth and laid back my only gripes with the project is Kota's writing leaves a lot to be desired with a lot of basic rhymes you would here from 80's funk rap.
