The cocky confidence that barrelled them into the big time might just be losing momentum - a band made of bold leaps have started dipping toes.

While there's little substance to be found on 48:13, it can either turn you off from the beginning or get under your skin, making for a harmless listen where you occasionally bang your head to the catchy highlights.

Drowned in Sound

It’s not a brilliant record, but if there’s good one thing to be said about 48:13, it's that it sounds like a band coming to terms with who they are and who they’re making music for, tossing pretence aside, and concentrating on being themselves.

The indie ravers keep on dancing while all the others have left the party.
Someone must wake them up.

Kasabian tried to head in a new direction. It did not work this album is so frustrating and probably something that they cannot recover from. Last 2 albums have been below par from kasabian they need to go back to there roots.
