Red Velvet are back with another Japanese mini album, with three new songs and three Japanese versions of previous songs. "SAPPY" and "Swimming Pool" have everything you'd want from a Red Velvet banger, while "Sayonara" is a little slower, more trap infused jam, and all three are great additions to their catalog. The japanese versions of past hits are solid enough to not sound awkward, to be honest.
Also, excluding "SAPPY", the new songs of this album are quite nice. "Sayonara" should have been the lead single, though, and it's a shame we'll probably never see its face outside the album.
The worst shit I've heard this year
É boa, mas não chega aos pés de Cookie Jar, eu gosto muito do estilo dessa música, ela é bem esquecida pelas pessoas, raramente eu vejo alguém falando de Sappy, mas é que perto dos lançamentos recentes do Red Velvet, esse aqui realmente fica um pouco abaixo. (7,5/10)

The title track "Sappy" took over a year to grow on me. I wasn't very fond of it for quite a while, but I kind of love it now. As for "Sayonara", I've always liked it. For me, "Swimming Pool" is not just one of Red Velvet's weakest songs, it's more like one of their only weak songs, therefore sort of a stain on their stunning discography.
