How Ed thinks: "hmm, I need to find way to get everyone on board with my new album. Who do I put on this album? Well, I am a pop artist, so lets get Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, and Bruno Mars in this album. They seem popular enough. Stormzy, J Hus and Dave are obvious picks to get in the UK rap crowd and I need to make it seem as if I'm sticking true to my roots. R&B is getting pretty popular lately, so...Elli Mai? YES, that's who I get and H.E.R. Khalid fits in the group of artists ... read more

Ed Sheeran: HOW DO YA DO FELLOW KIDS?! Would you like to hear my 15 MUSICAL WANK SESSIONS where I feature all these HIP and TRENDY cool artists so I can soak up all the streams?!?!

Wow, this was a disaster.

It seems that Ed Sheeran has figured out his formula to guaranteed success. After spending this decade building up his profile by making some of the most run-of-the-mill singer-songwriter tunes, he now has 65,406,451 monthly Spotify listeners, more than all of your fav artists combined, ... read more

EDIT: Now I see the error of my ways. No longer will Ed rein over actual artists. This was not the most exciting release of the week.

I really didn't want to review or even listen to this. Ed Sheeren is an artist that I virtually have no opinions on, due to the fact his blend of Folky stadium rock sounds more like it was aimed directly at my mother. And Jesus did this thing stink a mile away. This is some of the worst features i've seen all year. Justin? A Boogie wit da Hoodie? Eminem? Bruno ... read more

His music before this was bland and boring, but it was his own sound and that’s respectable. This LP is Ed just throwing his artistic credibility out the window and pandering to the commercial audience.
I may express my Doomer mentality a bit too much on this site, but (major label) music is only gonna get worse from here.

Now a moment of silence to the lost dignity of all the artists involved in this project and Skrillex.

Life is too short to listen to an Ed Sheeran album, especially when everyone I trust says it is garbage.

This new Ed Sheeran album... It’s NOT GOOD ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ (explosions sounds effects)

I’m not gonna lie, at first, I didn’t think this was too bad, sure it was super generic, but it wasn’t anything angry to get over with, but when Antisocial started to play, this album turned to trash, the production is bland, the vocals are bland, the lyrics are bland, EVERYTHING IS SO BLAND, and theses features, I sort of felt bad for them, you could clearly tell they didn’t care ... read more

This new Ed Sheeran...IT’S NOT GOOD (explosions)

An easy way to determine if a song is bad is if it’s forgettable, guess what this album is filled with? Even with this amount of features and funds avaible Ed surprises no one with making a subpar album.

MFW Ed Sheeran say "Hey Dude" in the Yesterday Movie Trailer: ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Honestly I really wish this was good, like don't get me wrong. Most Ed Sheeran sucks, but like, Ed Sheeran ft. Young Thug. That's like an Aerosmith/Run-DMC tipe thing. But then I realized those bands probably cared about that song, and everyone on this album sells their features like it's an Audrey 2. I'm pretty sure I could go to Fiverr right now and buy a Travis Scott verse for less then it would cost ... read more

Yup, it's a 6.

I typically don't like shitposting, but when you release a shitpost, you get shitposts.

I did listen all the way through, and I have to say 'BLOW' really ends the album at the bottom of the barrel.

Hey! I wanna poo poo on a bad album too, and I refuse to miss the party!

This is perhaps the most generic thing I've heard all year. Is this a commercial for a holiday resort? Am I inside of an Aéropostale? Am I actually in a club right now and didn't notice it? This may seem like a joke, but what I'm trying to get at here is that this album is simply all over the place. Having so many features is obvious to everyone on this site that its a cash grab, and I don't need to tell you ... read more

Back in 2011, when I was a wee young boy beginning to learn guitar, Ed Sheeran came out with his debut full length LP which seemed to take the world by storm, with tracks like 'Lego House' and 'The A Team' reaching incredible levels of success. I looked at Ed Sheeran as the guy I wanted to be. Fast forward all these years and I have most definitely changed drastically both as a person and in my musical tastes. Ed Sheeran's music went from being something I listened to on repeat and idolised to ... read more

We've all heard of industry plant artists. People who were basically boosted to an unimaginable amount of success because it will fit the current climate of music and make the industry all the money in the world.

Is there such a thing as an industry plant album? Not an artist, but just an album? Cause this is it. This isn't an album, it's a business tactic. It's a marketing strategy. Prepare to hear this album literally everywhere. Ed Sheeran is a genius. Wait... no. This product is just a ... read more

Let me fix that title for you, Ed: "Sell-Out Music To Sleep To".

I was originally going to ignore this like I did with the new Chris Brown and Jaden Smith albums, but I'm sick and tired of seeing people talking about trash albums in my feed and me not getting in on the "fun". So I decided to listen to it, and I now really regret giving this any attention at all.

Somehow, no one here sounds like they even give a shit about their performance. I mean, I know that this whole ... read more

I'm not a big fan of Ed Sheeran, I do not hate his albums but I find them not very successful. I did not expect much from his new album. I was not a fan of singles. But I still listened to "No.6 Collaborations Project", and it's not great. The good thing about this album is that it ventures out of Ed Sheeran's comfort zone. However, it is also the problem. Ed Sheeran claiming not to be Ed Sheeran. He tries things he does not have the ability to succeed. Not just meh, this album is ... read more

Ron Weasley's left testicle returns and he's brought some buddies with him. It's one thing if you're ditching your already bland sound for an even more bland one, it's another if an already dreadful feature list underperforms. How the fuck do you make Travis Scott, of all people, sound so goddamn bored?! EVEN SKRILLEX waters down his production just to make a generic trap beat!!! It's that terrible guys! In all seriousness I would like Ed to succeed and make good music. But this....THIS...this is what happens when the music industry promises you the sloppiest blow job and you can't pass it down because it's just too good to pass up. Round up all the chart topping, stream heavy artists, and throw em on one generic project that is as lifeless as tumblr in 2019. Truly music cannot get ANY worse than this. This is the epitome of souless, artificial, redundant, and corny cash in music that appeals ... read more

Super lazy, uninspired, foolish, inconsistent, monotonous... Well, pretty garbage. This album is the definition of what is wrong with contemporary music and the low level of humanity between the people making and listening to this album. Repulsive! Ed Sheeran has sold out! His vocals are so out of sync, the lyrics sound computer-generated and the production is horrific. Famous features don't equal good tracks. Im pretty sure Ed Sheeran thinks his success is about to run dry for whatever reason. there is really no reason for ed to make an album full of features. But idk either this was some sort of passion project, to have a ton of mediocre features on an album, or he has some big dept or something. I assume the latter.

Ed Sheeran doesn't matter on this album. He is the most average performer on his album. He's so non descriptive it's kinda insulting. Because of this, I'll mostly be talking about the ... read more

Oh boy oh boy oh boy. You know I’m a very nice and kind person and I’m ALWAYS down to give albums a chance even if they’re poorly reviewed or generally disliked. A lot of times I’ll like something that others hate but this is just straight sell-out, retail, mall music.
Two things I thought I’d never see in my life: Eminem and 50 Cent collaborating only to be made into a joke & Travis Scott going full-on mainstream. This project is so uninspired and bland & ... read more

Ed Sheeran... poops. This album sucks.

If Beautiful People is a stage setting introductory song... oh boy. The rest of this album might be rough. The first track doesn't suck, but it's ineffectual. I don't care about it at all, but the following track South of the Border is utter BS. One thing I absolutely never needed to hear is Ed Sheeran singing in Spanish. Camila Cabello continues to give me zero reason to ever listen to her music, and Cardi B actually manages to rap slightly different ... read more

Ed Sheeran surprised me with this. I thought the bloated feature list and relatively long run time would bring this album into extreme mediocrity, but he actually brought the best out of many of his features. They each have unique characteristics that let the album's diversity in musical style take over, while the signature sound of Ed Sheeran's acoustic-guitar pop still retains throughout the album. This is essentially a compilation, but it's a compilation of some of the best mainstream pop ... read more

This album....is an Ed Sheeran album. Nothing too bold, daring or exciting. It's merely an album to blow up the charts because all of Ed's fans are drooly dick-riders.
A couple collabs worked, like Travis Scott (surprisingly) and Stormzy, but this was a very meh project.

Ed Schleepran is back with a new record.
This new record is merely a compilation of typical Ed Schleepran performances on Ed Schleepran taste in production. Only difference is that there's a lot of popular people who all contribute with Ed Schleepran quality features.

On No. 6 Collaborations Project, Sheeran neglects everything that made him even slightly appealing in the mainstream. I'm all for change, but this is hypocritical, surface-level, and radio-seeking. It's also filled with woeful performances, and the highlights are long inbetween. Overall, the album isn't really worth anyone's time although I'm sure the radio disagrees.

The Revival of Pop music.

This is like a bunch of executives at the label were in full creative control and just used Ed Sheeran as a puppet to shit out a #1 Billboard album. They tried to do the same thing with DJ Khaled's album and thank God Tyler caught that W in May. The best fuck you to the mainstream I've ever seen.

And wtf with the features??? Holy culture appropriation

Ed Sheeran is someone that I've never really cared for, although some of his hits have been ok. (except Shape of You. FUCK that song.) Seeing the tracklist intrigued me sort of but I was scared it would become a DJ Khaled album except with Ed FUCKING Sheeran on every track. I was completely right.

No. 6 Collaborations Project ends up being a DJ Khaled album. Some songs are listenable. I actually like "Beautiful People", "Take Me Back To London" and "Antisocial". ... read more

I've never listened to an album that has made me experience all five stages of grief before.
This is the most soulless collection of truly horrendous and at times skin-crawling songs I've ever heard.

Even with all these negative receptions on the album, I still for some reason decided to take this seriously despite the previous singles being absolute dogshit. And yep, this album is pretty meh and boring. But, that doesn't mean that this thing didn't have it's highlights, even if it falls bare bones on it's good parts.

I swear if I hear another line about a chick's brown eyes-

The overall project is what the displayed singles are, repeated fifteen times, a compendium of hollow music with no meaningful value on their production, but just a manufactured product meant for charts of saturated market. Then there is it, Sheeran's most awkward and worst LP ever (which is not a surprise), because it does not work, neither as the release itself nor as random-genre compilation album. From Khalid's opener track to Stapleton and Mars' closing one, barely three-four moments stand ... read more
