She made a sweet little record: chilled-out melodies, easy, sexy voice, short on com.

What's surprising here are the bluesy, more jaunty songs that really dig into the country stylings only hinted at on Come Away with Me.

Rolling Stone
Where most creators of vocal pop music concentrate on crafting tight couplets and big-payoff refrains, Jones just sits at the piano and chases less obvious targets -- ruminative moods and hushed-whisper atmospheres. And she's found, in two graceful albums, a whole different kind of mojo lurking inside the three-minute song.
Entertainment Weekly

Generally, Feels Like Home picks up where its predecessor left off. Once again, her voice — alternately breathy, girlish, and ruminative — is front and center.

Yes, it’s an unchallenging and even deeply conservative record. But its class is positively aristocratic.
The Guardian

Don't Know Why, the best-known track from Come Away With Me, had an undeniable melody: you might not have liked it, but it was impossible to dislodge from your head. There's nothing similar here. In fact, Feels Like Home is so inoffensive you have trouble remembering whether you put it on.
