Even the song "From Now On" makes this album magnificent. Using different instruments from piano to wind instruments to create a distinctive sound makes Supertramp what is was - and is. "Even in the Quietest Moments..." provides seven excellent songs, from the opener "Give a Little Bit", which was a hit in the charts to other, artful composed, sophisticatred arranged, professional produced and wonderful orchestrated songs. Now I know who made "give a little bit". Very pretty sounding album, less poppy instrumentation compared to American breakfast, but still had a different approach, was really sweet and sounded punchy in a gratifying way throughout the album. That closer track, 10 mins long, wow I loved that. The rest of the album is a bit forgettable but hey ho, still solid but not something I'd fully return to, a good few lovely tracks.
I can only imagine this album taking place where the album cover is. A shame Lover Boy and From Now On are a bit weaker in comparison with the rest.
