The wet behind the ears debut album has a bucketload of naive charm and rough around the edges songwriting appeal - you can definitely hear how this album was a great audition for Aidan Moffat's star turn on 'R U Still In 2 It' from Mogwai's exceedingly popular 'Young Team'.

This is one of the most depressing records I’ve ever listened to. It also evoked the strangest reaction from me - I don’t think it’s any good really, but I admire its bleak depravity so much that, score aside, it’s a record I’d have to confess to genuinely ‘liking.’
